For many years I have been a huge proponent for Christmas. Even though I have known and celebrated the pagan side of Christmas and it’s counterpart Winter Solstice, I have still felt that Christmas is not inherently evil or wrong for Christians to celebrate. I have to admit, I love Christmas and I always have. I have many nostalgic memories of growing up and spending time with my family; which has always been my favorite part. I always felt Christmas was a magical time and I wanted very much to believe that Santa and his reindeer were real.
